Whenever the computer does not power on, consider these problems:
- Battery not fully charged
- A shortage in the power cord
- Button is stuck or jammed
- Damaged hardware or software
If any of those are an issue, those are common reasons why the computer may not be powered on.
- Charge up the computer and see if it powers on
- Change cords or outlets and see if it powers on
- Gently tap the button or lube the button to release it and try it again
If none of those is the issue, press and hold the power button instead of ten seconds to start a restart.
If that does not work, it is major hardware or software and must be repaired. Take it to the nearest Best Buy or Staples to fix the computer
